Empowering Women Through Skill Development
At Udgam Foundation, we believe empowerment begins with the right skills — ones that bring self-reliance, dignity and financial independence. Staying true to this vision, we successfully conducted our 6th incense stick-making workshop under the Udgam Uttaran initiative on 20 August 2025.
This one-day program was thoughtfully curated to nurture entrepreneurship and equip local women, both young and elderly, with hands-on skills that can help them build sustainable livelihoods.
The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 50 women from diverse walks of life. Guided by an expert trainer, participants engaged in a step-by-step learning journey that covered:
Beyond just learning techniques, the session ignited confidence, creativity and courage, paving the way for women to imagine new possibilities and take their first steps toward financial independence.
Each participant proudly received a certificate of participation, honoring their dedication to learning and growing. The Udgam team encouraged all participants to harness their newly acquired skills to generate income, uplift their families and become active contributors to their communities.
