Empowering Women Through Skill Development
At Udgam Foundation, we believe that true empowerment begins with equipping women with practical, hands-on skills that open doors to self-reliance, dignity and economic opportunity. In line with this belief, we successfully conducted our 4th incense stick-making workshop under the Udgam Uttaran initiative on 12th June 2025.
This one-day training was designed to foster entrepreneurship and provide local women, both young and elderly, with the tools and knowledge to create a sustainable livelihood.
The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 50 women from diverse backgrounds. Led by an expert trainer, the session offered a detailed, step-by-step learning experience covering:
Beyond technical skills, the training instilled confidence, motivation and a sense of possibility among the participants, planting the seeds for future micro-entrepreneurship.
Each participant received a certificate of participation, recognizing their commitment and enthusiasm to learn. The Udgam team encouraged all women to leverage their new skills to create income-generating ventures, thus contributing to their families and communities.
