Udgam Uttaran – Wings of Empowerment
Under the initiative “Udgam Uttaran – Wings of Empowerment,” Udgam Foundation continues its mission of strengthening and empowering women by providing hands-on training and skill development opportunities. The second training program, a two-day candle-making workshop, was successfully conducted on the 28th and 29th of January, 2025. This workshop marked another significant step in our journey toward creating economic independence and social confidence among women.
The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from over 40 women across various age groups, all eager to learn and grow. An extensive hands-on training, covering every aspect of candle-making was provided. From crafting simple, plain candles to designing colorful and scented ones, the participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the art and science behind candle production. The training also included valuable lessons on marketing these products, empowering the women with the tools to establish their own small businesses.
As the workshop concluded on a successful and positive note, our team took the opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. Each participant was presented with a calendar and a certificate of participation, acknowledging their enthusiasm and commitment.
